I've punched these hearts with Valdani Perle cotton in my favorite shade of red

to create one 3 dimensional turkey

in this series

I've then attached the punched piece onto a hand dyed wool and linen pillow that I've stuffed with wool batting and then done a bit of decorative stitching around the edges

Each one features glass bead eyes, a drawn mouth and a clay and spun cotton nose.
